Bradsher
Back in the Seat in Upcoming World Finals
(November
3, 2025) It’s been well over four years since
Paylor Motorsports owner Donald Bradsher has run competitive laps
in a Dirt Late Model, but that will soon change for the 61-year-old
Burlington, North Carolina native. Donald will return to action
later this week in the 2025 edition of the ‘World Finals’
at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina. Sporting
the special black paint scheme for Hoopaugh Grading Company that
his full-time driver Carson Ferguson debuted back in September’s
annual ‘World 100’ at Eldora (OH) Speedway, Donald will
battle a stout field of nearly 70 competitors that are expected
at the Charlotte-area speedplant from November 5-8.
The World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series season
finale will kick off on Wednesday night with two rounds of qualifying
around the 4/10-mile dirt oval. Three complete programs for the
Super Late Models - plus the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series
and Super DIRTcar Series - will then be held in front of an expected
standing-room-only crowd. Thursday and Friday’s events will
both pay $15,000 to the winner, while Saturday’s grand finale
will boast a $25,000 payday. More information on the ‘World
Finals’ extravaganza can be accessed by logging onto www.woolms.com
or don’t miss a lap of the action by tuning into DIRTVision.
Donald’s last competitive laps came in a 604 Crate Late Model
on July 31, 2021 at the sprawling Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat,
Virginia when he finished fifteenth in a $10,000 to win American
All-Star Series showdown. The last Super Late Model races that Donald
entered were also sanctioned by the World of Outlaws Late Model
Series back in October 2020 at Cherokee (SC) Speedway and 411 (TN)
Motor Speedway. It’s going to be a special weekend at The
Dirt Track at Charlotte for the driver known as “Super Duck”
regardless of the results.
“The World Finals is one of the biggest races of the year
and it’s close to home,” Bradsher said earlier today.
“We have always enjoyed racing at Charlotte and we’ve
always supported this event. I’ve done some testing here and
there the past few years, but haven’t made any competitive
laps for quite awhile. I’m looking forward to it, but I’m
not doing it for myself - it’s more for my daughters and my
young grandkids. Regardless of how we do on the track, they will
have some awesome memories and photos to look back on and that’s
what really matters.”
